Blog 8_ Final

So this will be my last blog. I don't think I am using this thing unless next semester teacher told me so hahha. Anyways here is my honest review of what this course has been so far.

At first, I thought the negative situation we all are passing through would mean a bad development of the english class because, for my experence at school, is necessary to be fully concentrate in what the teacher is talking to link words and meanings, and is difficult to be in that mood in online classes. However, for me, it's worked pretty fine and was more that I expected. I think it was because I arrive with this pre-notions of what my english classes were in high school but in university are totally diferent.

Then I realize that the dinamics: watching videos and writting blogs, are more effective than all the guides about grammar I have done before. Don't get me wrong, they worked at some level, like 1st or 2nd grade of high school but then I was eventually getting bored of the classes (I HAD 6 HOURS PER WEEK :/). So I think the methodology is the best thing of this course. And also, I liked the way the materials are selected for the type of students, showing us things we are up to watch and actually liking them.

I think what I have to improve is my shyness at speaking english, I barely do it if I am not asked for. Also, learn more technical english because sometimes we had to read pappers that are much complex for knowing only comuncational english. I think the only way for improving this is by reading in english after all, and about the shyness I think someday I have to prove myself at speaking with other english speakers and see what happened.

Like I said, I don't usually speak english but I like listening to music and watching series and movies subtitled, so sometimes I don't look the subtitles and try to understand without reading or I look the phone for some seconds meanwhile I am hearing the dialogues.

I am grateful for teacher's disposition to make this course an awesome and usefull thing. That's all, thanks for reading!!
